   Dear HMRF,
Thank you very much for the grant you gave me this late summer. With my knees back in order and my training ramping up to a full schedule again, my working schedule took a back seat. With your grant I was able to workout and prepare for the upcoming season more effectively and efficiently. I just returned from a month long trip down in Chile (Chillan and Portillo) where we trained with the World Cup speed team. It ended up being a great camp where I was skiing at the pace if not better than I wanted to be at this time of the season. Now I have what already seems to be a very quick month off before we head to Colorado for another little training block before the kickoff of the season. I am Extremely excited for this upcoming season and also very thankful to all the support that the foundation and everyone involved has given me over the years. I Hope this season brings a lot of snow and everyone has a great winter.
Thanks always,
Jeremy Transue (worm)

Tracie Sachs, pictured holding one of her four World Cup Globes, is another athlete that grew up skiing in Hunter Mountain’s programs.  She has been speed skiing for 7 years and is ranked number one in the world.  Tracie's fastest speed achieved so far is 148.27 mph.  Four time FIS Speed Skiing World Cup Champion, Tracie has benefitted from HMRF grants.  At this time she is trying for a world record.
